***Non-personalized items may be returned within 14 days of purchase with the original receipt for full refund minus shipping in original payment method. After 14 business days, but within 30 days, you may return for store credit only. Clothing, jewelry and accessories must be unworn. We reserve the right to reverse a refund if the items have any sign of wear, alteration, misuse or damage. Items returned to us must have the tags still attached. If not, the items are subjected to a 30% restocking fee. Items with makeup, deodorant, perfume or similar product stains will be shipped back to you and are subject to additional shipping cost. Returns will be processed upon receiving merchandise in-hand and the credit will be processed in 3-5 business days upon receipt. We do not offer free returns at this time. For any orders received damaged, please note that claims have to be received within 7 days of delivery or cannot be returned.

For merchandise that is ordered upon special request, i.e. size, color or pattern outside of our standard offerings cannot be returned.

**Please note that shipping and handling charges are not refundable. The cost of the return shipping of $5.00 will be deducted from your refund or store credit. Return shipping costs are not reimbursed by House Plus Love, unless we sent damaged or incorrect merchandise.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange a damaged product for the same item, send us an email at brittany@housepluslove.com.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
